2011 Mares & Foals
Charlotte & Jewel
On April 9, 2011, Southern Star Ranch helped bring a little miniature filly into this world. Charlotte is the proud mama. She's had a hard month of pre-labor pain, but now that Jewel has finally decided to make her appearance, Charlotte feels much better.
Mariah & Bodie
Mariah managed to have her baby during my very rare ten-minute nap, but I got there in time to help her out. She gave birth to Bodie, a beautiful blue roan Arabian/Quarter cross on August 27, 2011, and both are doing great.

SSR was so happy to welcome The Black Stallion Literacy Program to our farm. With over 400 1st graders from Putnam County visiting, it was definitely an exciting day. A special thank you goes out to Taylor, Kristin, Chase, Kim, Gary, Amanda, Hillary, Vanessa & Sissy. It couldn't have been done without you!!
